The Naked Cowboy Isn’t Naked Enough
The Naked Cowboy is suing M&Ms for appropriating his trademarked image. Apparently wearing white undies and a cowboy hat while playing a white guitar is not something a small chocolate candy should do.
I’ve heard of the Naked Cowboy before and then promptly forgotten about him. This story ensures he’s going to get worldwide coverage. His official website has plenty of photos, videos and promo stuff if you’re curious.
What I’m now thinking, though, is that the Naked Cowboy could very well be sued for misleading advertising. The man, clearly, is not naked. Yes, the white undies are hot and all, but I can’t help but feel he’s overstating his case a little. I guess he’d get arrested if he really did go starkers, but on behalf of perving women everywhere I’d like to say: GERREM OFF!
