Viggo Mortensen Kisses A Hobbit
I recently re-watched all three Lord of the Rings films and finally got around to watching the extras on film 3. One of the more amusing moments on that disc was when Viggo Mortensen decided to kiss hobbit Billy Boyd, ostensibly to make Sean Astin feel a bit more relaxed with his scene.
Now that kiss goes for rather a long time. It’s kind of sexy, in a very strange way.
And it seems that kissing Viggo was fairly standard practice for many of the male LOTR cast members. Check out the various videos on YouTube here.
There’s also a less-than-perfect mashup of Aragorn kissing Legolas in there, for all the slash fiction fans who need to bolster their fantasies.
Viggo still makes my list of shaggable celebrities, although I think he looks better with his beard than without.
