Apparently David Beckham isn’t too pleased about appearing in a gay nude calendar, if in name only.
Celebrity Hunks Around The House, a naked celebrity lookalike calendar, features the soccer star, along with several other celeb pretenders including guys aspiring to be Brad Pitt and Prince William.
Gay.com takes offence not at the celeb reference, but to the standard of the models in said calendar.
The Celebrity Hunks Around the House 2007 calendar is quite possibly one of the naffest things you could hang on your wall, and could only be excused in an ironic, post-modern nod towards our celebrity obsessed culture.
This tawdry calendar looks like it was shot in a council flat in Slough. Net curtains, chintzy rugs and cheap framed pictures render the whole affair as more ‘readers’ wives’ than celebrity hunks
I have to agree. Having seen the promo pic, I’m not feeling inspired to rush out and buy a copy. The guys all look a bit weedy and, well, gay, actually.
