Exotic Erotic Paintings
I’ve mentioned before that I belly dance. We’ve got a big concert coming up and I’m busy sewing and practising. Today I found out that sword dancing doesn’t have any folkloric history. It’s actually a modern invention, inspired by the 19th century paintings of Jean-Léon Gérôme, this one in particular.
Curious, I went looking through the wonderful pics in this gallery and found numerous sensual pics. Seems the guy was big on harems and art fans adored his paintings because they offered a cultured way to perve at nude women.
The pic above is called The Dance of the Almeh. I like how the boobs are out. Now that might cause a bit of a stir if we followed suit.
