Pride And Prejudice Spam
Spammers have been studying the classics, it seems. Today, amid the usual Viagra and penis enlargement deluge I received an email consisting entirely of sentences from Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice.
P&P is a favourite book of mine, so I found it all rather amusing. Especially because several of the phrases were juxtaposed so as to make it all rather naughty:
“yes, vanity is a weakness indeed. but pride-where there is a real superiority of mind, pride will
console lady catherine as well as you can. but, if i were you, i would stand by the nephew. he has
balls, and i will take care to get good partners for them all. come, mr. wickham…”
Ooh, I think it’s time to go and watch that wet shirt scene again…
