Smart Girl’s Guide To Porn
The lovely Violet Blue is about to release a new book, the Smart Girl’s Guide To Porn. It’s a look at porn from a woman’s perspective, complete with facts about porn and tips for better enjoying it.
Violet’s post about the Guide at her Tiny Nibbles blog gives more detail about the topics covered in the book. Chapters include “Why Porn Sucks” and “What A Smart Girl Wants”.
The book’s origins lie with the Smart Girl’s Porn Club online group at Tribe.net which Violet moderated for several years. Unfortunately the group is pretty much defunct now after the corporate redesign of the Tribe site.
I’m looking forward to reviewing the book. My only quibble would be with her chapter about online porn. Violet believes that all porn should be free and thus promotes some sites that participate in hacking and copyright theft - not something that I agree with.
