Hetero Male Porn StarsThe stars include Julian, Dale Dabone, Nick Manning, Evan Stone, Lex Steele, Billy Glyde, Mickey G and Devin Wolf. I did my best to research biographies and filmographies of the stars and make the site a bit more than just "here's a bunch of movies". But here's the thing (and it's what makes this blog entry more than just a plug for the site LOL). I had a helluva time searching through the available films to find just the right scenes. The vast majority of adult movies out there do their utmost to make sure you can't even see the guy. The most you'll get of them is their dick or lower half. Even the big name male porn stars are victims of this "cut them off at the navel" mentality. The directors and producers of adult films overwhelmingly focus on the female performers. Not surprising, perhaps, considering that the 99% of films are made for men. But telling, nonetheless. The prevailing wisdom is that everyday male porn viewers don't want to see other men. God forbid they should accidentally find another man arousing or something. That would be just wrong, of course! Thankfully the big budget "couples" films do at least make the concession that it's nice to see all of the man involved, even if they invariably descend into the usual porn cliches once the sex starts. I spent waaaay too long trying to get decent screen shots of the actor's faces. In some cases it was near impossible. A few months back I interviewed porn star turned director Brittany Andrews about her plans to make women's porn. One of the big things she was insisting on was that the camera totally focus on the male during the sex scene. She was essentially aiming to reverse the standard porn techniques and just show the guys as they had sex, with the woman becoming less important. On this subject I'm more of a fence sitter. To be honest, I want to see BOTH people in a sex scene. I want to enjoy their reactions and I want to see them both being pleasured equally. The scenes in Hetero Male Porn Stars are a step in that direction, even though they're still standard fare. I'll be keeping an eye out for more good scenes for my updates of this site.
